Cleaned up my painting desk

So I finally got fed up with the mess that was my desk and not having any space to work. It is not like I sit here every day or anything.....

So here is a before and after shot. SO MUCH better. Though I still did not have enough room for all my paints. But this helps a ton and hopefully I can keep them from just migrating down onto the desk.

Though I have resigned myself to the inevitable earthquake that is going to knock them all down. And I still need to work on the mess underneath, but one project at a time!

Ya, it is quite the pile of stuff under the desk. But at least I have room for my feet!

I notice you have cardboard to protect your desk. I use to do the same until I realized the giant foam mats that they use for card games like magic or the wow card came work perfectly to paint on. They've almost like giant mouse pads, and since most are cloth can be cleaned and air dried.
Love the setup.

Thanks! One of the benefits of the cardboard is I cut on it and constantly get glue on it too. This way I can throw it out and get a new one when ever I need to. Though depending on the use those plastic mats would work very well too.
