For those of you who havent seen, the new missions book is up along with some other plastic sets, and figures for March from GW. A couple of things that surprised me...and yet, didn't really surprise me....were that 3 killa kans are 45 bucks while one deff dred is 50, obviously priced by unit and not by actual model kit coolness. Ok, so thats pretty standard. Also, the new basilisk kit....I thought would have included other artillery types, (Medusa perhaps?) but alas, they don't want us modularizing too many models to save money right? Lastly, worthy of mention is the cool targeting squig on the shoulder of the 17 DOLLAR!?! Flashgit model.

You forgot the best part, a Venerable Dreadnought. They did this one in the style of the ForgeWorld ones and looks like it has lots of bits that will be nice for many conversions to come.

something to note with the bassie is that the turret is still the old sprue, so the kit is just the new chim chassis with the same gun. Could mean the remaining 3 options will get 1 combined sprue.

Also, for the 3 new walker kits, wow those sprues are jam packed with bitz. Very impressive.

Very disappointed that the Bassie doesn't include the other artillery options. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

On the other hand I am really looking forward to the Battle Missions book. IMO we don't play enough non-standard missions, whether it's Cityfight, Planetstrike, or these new missions. Also, a plastic Ven Dread means I'm getting a 3rd Ven Dread (have 2 forgeworld ones) and that'll make 6 total dreads for me.
